print.css or print styles
Some web pages have the print.css or print styles for your printer or other devices. Can you create an option or change the whole stuff that the first attempt you app would use is to use the print style for the website before the normal styles.

How is this different than using one of the many PDF pseudo-printers available?
I use PDFCreator with "auto-save" enabled to "print" many web pages a day, as well as with other applications. I'm just not seeing what PdfMyUrl does that it doesn't. Please explain.
6 votesWe have many options to manipulate the content and look&feel of the pdf.
Also, we render pages as they are seen by browsers, not printers

Posting your terms of service.
It would be great to use this service, even pay a small fee, but I would need to know the Terms of Service before I could confidently use it with clients.

In link pdfmyurl.com/?=url=www.something.com/?p=5&id=2 do these $_GET values 5+2 get lost?
Putting the link in the form on the website works well!
But when linking to it via:
pdfmyurl.com/?=url=www.something.com/?p=5&id=2It loses the values p=5 and id = 2
10 votesYou need to escape the url when posting it to our domain.
In javascript you can do it like this:
javascript:pdf_url=location.href;location.href=‘http://pdfmyurl.com?url=’+escape(pdf_url) -
Support CSS3, such as border-radius and @font-face.
CSS3 features such as border-radius, box-shadow, text-shadow, and the all-important @font-face are becoming more and more prevalent in web pages. Creating PDFs with these features would be massively beneficial, and would preserve the web pages as they are meant to be seen.
6 votesThis should work already. PDFmyURL supports CSS 3 by default.

Othe languages?
when I tried to copy my website, some Thai language was garbled. The Thai characters in the header were Ok but those on a left side link bar were not good.
I had a screenshot but I can't insert it into this Description box.I still like pdfmyurl.com
Thanks

Method to block the use of pdfmyurl on you site
For copyright/legal purposes some sites may not want users to be able to create a pdf of a site. A way for website administrators to simply block the service form working, much like you can block search engines form indexing a site.
6 votesWe sent a custom HTTP header that says the following:
X-PDF-CREATOR Kaiomi
You can use this to block our conversion engine from PDFing your pages or to send a different page for rendering.

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your suggestion. This has been implemented, please take a look at the advanced options.
An example to download google.com as a pdf with the filename “test.pdf” is:
pdfmyurl.com/?url=google.com&—filename=test.pdf
This is now available as part of the personal licensed version.

Thanks for the suggestion.
A —original-url option has been added.
Try the following, it should provide the original url:
pdfmyurl.com/?url=google.com&—original-urlDoes this do whats needed?
This is now available as part of the personal licensed version.

We’ve done some testing. The correct option is -s.
Here’s an example, that downloads google.com as a pdf, has a zoom factor of 60%, uses landscape orientation, and A3 as the page size, and downloads the file as test.pdf:
pdfmyurl.com/?url=google.com&—zoom=0.6&-O=Landscape&—filename=test.pdf&-s=A3
Also have a look at the advanced options link on the home page, and the "—page-size " / "-s option, and the list of page sizes allowed here:
